Our well-established Careers Department provides students with the information and support needed to make the right decisions about their future. Careers staff operate from a suite of rooms containing extensive and varied resources.

Our Careers and Higher Education library has a comprehensive range of university guides and computer facilities for on-line research and advice is available to help choose universities and courses in an informed way.

For students considering applying to Oxford or Cambridge universities, our Oxbridge Co-ordinator will provide all the guidance needed including the choice of subject and college.

Sixth Formers also have the option to attend careers courses and university open days. They are able to attend talks on a variety of specialist subjects given by visiting speakers and to contribute to focused discussion sessions organised by their teachers. In addition, students are able to participate in a practice session with external interviewers from academic, industrial and commercial institutions.

Sixth Formers are also able to benefit from our extensive network of former students who are happy to share their experiences of universities and careers and provide valuable contacts.
